WisePass integrates with 100+ web3 wallets

In September 2023, WisePass announced during a private event the integration with the MetaMask SDK. The lifestyle app officially accepted web3 users to connect with a self-custodial wallet and spend their tokens on the BNB Chain on the WisePass network.

Following the feedback from some users, the company moved forward and decided to accept over 100+ self-custodial wallets for web3 users to spend their tokens in the real world.

How WisePass did integrate 100+ wallets?

WisePass integrated 100+ wallets with Wallet Connect using the Web3Modal SDK.

It allows us to easily connect our Web3 app V2 with wallets. It provides a simple and intuitive interface and uses React Native.

Why did WisePass integrate 100+ wallets?

At WisePass, our focus is solely on investing our time in what we’re doing best, which is to build great access for our users. Offering our users more convenience by accepting more wallets is building a greater access.

With 100+ web3 wallets, Wallet Connect happened to be the perfect solution for us as we can rely on them to focus on solving that specific pain point.

What will WisePass focus on after this wallet integration?

Many users are sharing with us that the BNB Chain should not be the only chain we shall accept. We understand the feedback and will follow our multi-chain strategy and will work in the coming weeks on implementing other chains.

The next chains we will accept will be Layer 2 Ethereum chains like Optimism, Arbitrum, or Polygon.

Will WisePass come up with something interesting with NFTs?

We believe we might be able to come up with something interesting for the market soon.

We are currently testing that solution internally so we can add a use case for NFT holders before the Lunar New Year.
