Founder’s Night Season 2 is launched!

Founder’s Night started in Ho Chi Minh City on November 2020 with WisePass. The goal was initially to invite a founder or investor ( who invests in founders ) to share their journey. On December 20th 2023, WisePass launched its second season with its sponsor Seedefy and ran this event at Tre Eatery & Bar from 6:30pm til 9:30pm.

During this event, the format changed slightly as not one speaker but 2 were invited to discuss their journey. Jon Myers and Binh Tran were the stars of the event and shared about Power Trade Klout and now Ascend Ventures respectively.

 

How guests were invited?

Guests were invited through a private link on Eventbrite where they needed a password in order to sign up successfully.

Was the event free for guests?

Yes. The event was free for guests.

What were the requirements to be a guest?

If you want to be a guest, you should be a founder, investor, or government official that is approved by the sponsor.

What’s the requirement to be a guest speaker?

The speaker needs to be a founder, former founder, or investor who has already managed to raise funds (preferably over 1 million USD in Vietnam ). There’s a preference for founders who raised and successfully exited.

Did Jon Myers raise over 1 million for Power Trade?

Yes. Jon Myers and his team already raised over that amount for Power Trade.

What about Binh Tran?

Binh Tran is the former co-founder of Klout and successfully made an exit of 230M$ and is now an investor at Ascend Ventures and is based in Vietnam.

How many Founder’s Night has WisePass run so far?

We have run 10 events already. This event was edition 11. Each season contains 10 editions.
