Introducing a new use case with WisePass

In the past couple of years, WisePass focused on rebuilding its partner’s network post covid. The focus was to re-establish the relationships with all the bars, restaurants, and hotels that managed to go through this turbulent time.

During the year 2023, WisePass has been able to reach almost 50 active venues where users can redeem some offers such as drinks or buy 1 get 1 one. The focus was on drinking for the past couple of years. In 2024, WisePass will officially release a new use case for users to enjoy.

What is WisePass doing?

Users can enjoy 4 different things with WisePass. We categorized the following way :

Discovery

The discovery activity is when users come to a venue and redeem a product or item for free. For example, users can go to Nong Trai Khoai and enjoy some Beck’s Ice beer for 3 PASS. Users can just come, scan the QR code over there, and confirm their selection to enjoy that beer with no additional payment.

Events

The event activity is when users join an event. For example, users for Founder’s Night Edition 9 had to scan to join the event for 3 PASS. That means that users with 3 PASS can join the event only.

Promotion

The promotion activity is when users can enjoy a discount at the venue. For example, users can come to CTY Kitchen + Bar and enjoy the Buy 1 Get 1. That translates into a 50% discount. Users simply need to come there, scan the QR code, and confirm the selection with 3 PASS.

Rewards

The reward activity is when users can enjoy a gift they can redeem at the venue. For example, users can enjoy a gift after they complete a challenge. The way to redeem the gift is by simply going to the venue and scanning the QR code to redeem it.

What users can do so far?

Today, users can enjoy the drinks either through discovery or promotion. For example, users can go to Layla Eatery & Bar to redeem a bottle for 100 PASS with a minimum spend of 500,000 VND in Ho Chi Minh City. Users can also enjoy the Buy 1 Get 1 offer at Ola Hale for 3 PASS with a minimum spend of 200,000 VND in Ho Chi Minh City.

Where users can enjoy it?

Users can enjoy WisePass in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. We’re planning to open a new city this year. As we expand across South East Asia, our value proposition will start to get more and more attractive to our users.

What’s the new use case?

WisePass can let users enjoy now a new type of promotion. Food. With WisePass, users can enjoy 50% off on food.

Starting in Ho Chi Minh City, the first venue welcoming users for such promotion is The Trieu Insitute where chicken wings and oysters will be eligible anytime.

Conclusion

The past few years have proven to be the most turbulent ones for WisePass. We believe that growing back carefully has been our main focus. Even though we used to have several use cases before COVID times, we think it’s best to offer new use cases one after another without compromising a critical factor, user experience.
